Big Blue Button is a web-conferencing system for teaching and learning online that provides real-time sharing of audio, video, slides, chat, and screen.  Some of your courses may use this tool for digital course delivery.  When you use Big Blue Button, personal Information about you, such as your name, email address, image, voice, and class participation is collected under the authority of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act of BC, s. 26(c), to promote individual and group learning at KPU.  Big Blue Button sessions are recorded for educational purposes and are shared only with your instructor and classmates within the Moodle site, and will be stored by KPU’s service provider within Canada.   When using Big Blue Button, you are requested not to divulge personal information about others, or to share personal information about yourself that is not necessary for class participation.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your instructor.
